I brought the rod for my 14 year old daughter to use when she accompanys me on sea fishing trips she used the rod for two eight hour trips over wrecks and rough ground the rod and daughter coped admirably. Obviously the price was the first attraction but after the rod being given a couple of runouts the quality and features on the rod belittle the price. If this is bottom of the Fladen range then the top must be pretty good. A rod excellent for the price.
